What skills do I need?
You do not need prior camera experience, but should look at the ‘qualities needed’ section
What equipment will I need?
A PC or laptop will be needed, an email account and a phone line. Photographic equipment will be covered in more depth on the first unit of the course.
When will I start earning money?
This is an individual process. The course structure will allow you to start earning very early on, but you should only proceed in the areas that you feel most comfortable.
Will the course teach me to take wedding images?
Yes, weddings and portraits will be covered along with a multitude of other ways of earning as a professional photographer.
What if I struggle with the modules?
We are here to ensure that you have a positive experience on the course and achieve your goal. You will have access to expert help and will be able to call for assistance if you are struggling.
What if I want to specialise in one area of photography, such as school pictures?
The course will enable you to work in whatever field you wish to pursue. However, being flexible will help you stay employed and help you to identify areas of photography not over saturated in your area.

There are many courses available covering the basics of camera operation. However, this course is unique in covering all the elements required to develop your career in the industry. You will also have access to our mentoring service and your own page on our dedicated web site. Gaining work as a photographer is dependant on having a wealth of strong images to show clients, and this scheme will allow you to use the company resources until such time as your portfolio is strong enough to work for you independently.
Why does it take so long to train?
This course will give you the benefit of the experience of industry professionals gained over a 20 year period. This cannot be achieved in a day workshop! However, rest assured you will feel confident to work as a photographer very quickly, and will have the underpinning knowledge to answer any of your clients queries.
